About Feldwood Farms

A Journey Back to Nature

Feldwood Farms began with a simple yet profound desire—to return to nature and rediscover truth. In 2020, as the world experienced a dramatic shift due to the pandemic, I felt called to get closer to the natural world and to God. Farming entered my heart like a bird taking its first flight—sudden, purposeful, and full of promise.

At first, I planned to raise grass-fed beef on the property, but God had other plans. Blueberries became our chosen crop. I had always known blueberries as a superfruit, but through a combination of luck and a deepening desire to help heal others through agriculture, they became my way of giving back to humanity.

When we purchased the farm in 2020, the land came with a single row of blueberry bushes planted near the property line by the previous owner. When those bushes bore fruit, we tasted the berries—and they were incredible! Sweet, tart, and bursting with flavor, they were unlike anything I had ever tried from a grocery store. That small row of bushes was just the beginning. Guided by faith and inspired by nature, that row has now grown into over 1,500 fruit-bearing bushes that we joyfully share with the world.

Our blueberries grow in a naturally occurring valley on both sides of a spring-fed pond, nestled in the rural heart of South Fulton, an area of Atlanta that still retains its agricultural roots. In just 15 to 20 minutes, you can travel from downtown Atlanta to this peaceful haven. South Fulton remains a hidden gem, where the rural landscape offers a unique contrast to the city and a chance to reconnect with the land. Historically, this Piedmont region of Georgia has been among the most fertile farmland in the state.

There are over 400 varieties within the Vaccinium genus grown across the Northern Hemisphere. At Feldwood Farms, we grow Vaccinium ashei, commonly known as Rabbiteye blueberries. The name comes from the fruit’s unique appearance—it resembles the eye of a rabbit.

Our bushes thrive with plenty of sunlight and love. We grow them without plastic mulch or pesticides, ensuring our fruit is as pure and natural as possible.

Our mission is to introduce every visitor to Atlanta to our incredible fruit and to create a line of blueberry-based products that reflect our values: healing through God, nature, and superfruit. We look forward to welcoming you to the farm this season!
